About the Group
AEBIG is one of
leading forums for all information professionals involved,
or interested in the dynamic world of business information.
As one of the largest of Aslib's Special Interest Groups,
AEBIG provides members with the opportunity to stay informed
of current developments in what is a rapidly changing market.
Our members are
drawn from all sectors of the information industry - including
large financial centres, government departments, specialist
consultancies and information providers.
Group Events
We organise
highly informative seminars and workshops, which offer you
the opportunity to meet with information professionals who
work in similar fields. You can also attend papers presented
by professionals working and researching in the forefront
of their areas of expertise.

to seminars, workshops and visits, the Group also participates
in the Aslib Conference, with KIMNET (Aslib Knowledge and
Information Management Network), Mobilising Knowledge for
Business Performance, which focuses on the practical aspects
of Knowledge Management in business. Members qualify for a
